Enabling

This is my last Al-Anon update until I go again.  The co-worker I've been going with has been on vacation and I'm still vulnerable enough I didn't really want to go on my own.  Next week I'll have a new update for you.  Tomorrow I plan on posting some more stuff.  I've been exploring my anxiety, my ticks, and delving into ways to alleviate my nerves.  Now, onto the post!

My thoughts after:

The theme that seems to keep being applied today is: BOUNDARIES.  I didn’t think this had much to do with enabling, but now I am changing my tune.  By not putting up boundaries in our personal relationships, we are ENABLING people to treat us like crap and walk all over us.  We don’t do boundaries cause we don’t want to hurt the person, but all we’re doing is hurting ourselves.  Well, it’s NOT okay for someone to hurt me and take advantage of my empathetic heart.  And I’m done letting them!  NO IS A COMPLETE SENTENCE!
